Windows 9 Concept Modern Aero

This is a current WIP for my Windows 9 Concept. The UI concept is called Modern Aero.

On left is the start menu snap-in. It overlays over the desktop and any open windows the same as a Windows 8 snap-in.
From the top down:
Current Profile - Same menu as Windows 8 and retains the same functionality.
Charms Menu - Full screen, Devices, Share, Settings
Modern Tiles - Vertical scrolling area with customization options for larger more informative Tiles.
Search Bar - Same functionality as Windows 8 Modern UI Search
Bottom Menu - Windows Start, All apps, Control Panel, User Files, Run

On the right is the Explorer window. The sides function just as they do in Windows 7 and 8 providing shortcuts and descriptions. They each have buttons to easily hide and show them. Tabbed browsing is a feature everyone has been waiting for. The UI was also consolidated to be smaller but more user friendly.

Icons in the taskbar have been increased in size. Because... if you have the extra space, why not? A lot more detail and clarity can be conveyed with larger icons.

All white fonts have a drop shadow all white icons have a faint black outerglow to stand out in case the user puts white as the background.
